My Work

Having started out as a character Voice Actor for movies and cartoons, I have since gone on to work in just about every genre of voiceover out there!

On radio, you may hear me voicing commercials and promos, performing poetry or literature readings or a character in a play. On TV I’ve voiced promos, commercials, documentaries and cartoons. Movies on the big screen and countless things online including explainer videos, corporate promotion, e-learning, virtual guides and narration.

You can hear my voice in video games, apps, telephony, museum narrations and characters and even in lifts.

I have also been known to enjoy a good audiobook but mainly back in the days when all I had to do was turn up and be the voice!

NHS

Working on this character voice for an NHS video was all about bringing ‘Louise’ to live as authentically as possible. Sharing stories through characters can be a very effective way to engage the viewers.

I've worked with Noni on a variety of bilingual animation projects, and she never lets us down. She's got a wonderful, versatile voice that keeps us coming back time and time again. Highly recommended.

Institute of Physics

I was delighted that James chose me to provide a trustworthy and relatable voiceover narration for this video. The Limit Less campaign is about school communities working together to ensure choices are fair accessible to all students.

Noni did a wonderful job for us. She is a consummate professional, has a fantastic range as a voiceover artist and was a delight to work with. Everyone is very happy indeed with the final film. Thank you Noni!

Adoption Cymru

It’s always a pleasure to work with a good script when a warm and emotive voiceover is needed. Throw in a thoughtfully made film and an important message and it makes me pretty happy. I hope this beautiful advert by Make It Sticky reaches all the right people.

This project required a voice actor that could convey understanding, sympathy, and warmth. Noni delivered the exact read we were looking for and ensured the ad sounded as good as it looked…and being a bi-lingual voice actor, she was able to do this in both English and Welsh seamlessly.

As a passionate, lifelong theatre professional, I was so pleased to have voiced this elegant animation for the Wales Millenium Centre which required an aspirational and welcoming voiceover style to showcase this fabulous Welsh landmark.

Janet The Dinosaur

I started out my studio career with accent and character voiceover through stop motion animation and cartoon so I was delighted to have the opportunity to play Janet The Dinosaur!

Putting the right voice to a character whether it be for radio or TV advertising is no mean feat. Noni’s experience and depth of talent makes this part of the job a cinch. As well as bringing some ideas to the project prior to the session beginning, she was patient and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done the right way.

Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit

Working as a regular Aardman Animation voice actor on Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit with the incredible team for over two years was certainly a highlight of my career, and playing Mrs Girdling was the cherry on top of a large clay cake!

Noni is a pleasure to work with. She is extremely versatile and seems comfortable playing characters from a very wide range.

This was a fun and playful voiceover style and lovely to voice a commercial for a place I am so familiar with!

Noni is great to work with – consistently reliable and professional. Whatever the project, big or small, she delivers a quality service. Highly recommended.

The Mermaid To The Welsh

One of my earliest jobs as a voice actor was reading poetry for Poetry Please on BBC Radio Four, so I was so delighted to work on this for Tom. A truly evocative poem bursting with sharp imagery and gorgeous language.

'From The Mermaid to The Welsh' is about falling between anticipation to disappointment. It rises and falls in emotional tone. Noni was a dream. Her voice a wave rolling through the poem, gathering up all the surrealism, music and pathos the piece needed, before bringing it softly to shore. I don’t think people can perform poetry unless they have hearts as deep as the sea.

I do enjoy a script that takes you on a journey, and alongside the stunning footage and fascinating history of Gnoll House, this short film was a pleasure to work on and provide this warm and lyrical voiceover for.

We have used Noni many times for voice-over work and we were really pleased with this project in particular. The quality of the audio was great and with Noni having her own studio at home, the whole process was really quick and easy for us.
